Barely six months
ago — at the supposedly mainstream Islamic Center of Davis in Davis,
California, an imam gave a sermon during which he plainly appeared
(on video, no less) to exhort his congregants to pray for the mass murder
of all Jews — and to even actively participate in genocide.

During imam Ammar Shahin's sermon on
7/21/2017 - where he was addressing his congregation about the
controversy regarding Israel placing metal detectors at the entrance to the
Al-Aqsa Mosque (shortly after two Arab terrorists murdered two Israeli policemen there)
- he said:
Allah does not change
the situation of people ‘until they change their own situation.’ The Prophet Muhammad
said: ‘Judgment Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews, and the
Jews hide behind stones and trees, and the stones and the trees say: Oh Muslim,
oh servant of Allah …’ They will not say: ‘Oh Egyptian, oh Palestinian, oh
Jordanian, oh Syrian, oh Afghan, oh Pakistani.’ The Prophet Muhammad says that
the time will come, the Last Hour will not take place until the Muslims fight
the Jews.
As
if that wasn’t enough hate and incitement to murder for one sermon, Shahin
added:
Liberate the Al-Aqsa
Mosque from the filth of the Jews. … Annihilate them down to the very last one.
… Oh Allah, make this happen by our hands. Let us play a part in this.
The
response to this incitement by a purportedly mainstream imam — across
the street from the very liberal University of California at Davis — was remarkably
muted. With the exception of the local press, as well as some conservative and
Jewish publications, it received almost no media attention.
Perhaps because of this impuissant
response, the Islamic Center of Davis’s initial reaction was typical
of many guilty parties after they are caught on tape saying something
heinous — namely, claiming that the imam was “taken out of context.”
After the few local media outlets and
Jewish publications even paying attention to the issue responded with
the requisite incredulity to the duplicitous “out of context” claim, the center
then issued a quasi-apology, saying in part:
If the sermon was
misconstrued, we sincerely apologize to anyone offended. We will continue our
commitment to interfaith and community harmony.
Misconstrued?
Their imam was caught “red-handed” on tape referring to “filthy Jews” and
repeatedly encouraging his own congregants to mass-murder Jews. The
overt racism, xenophobia and calls for genocide by the imam was clear; yet
the Islamic Center of Davis chose to try and claim that his words were “taken
out of context” and only when that didn’t work, they chose to hide behind the
most weaselly of apologies.
Sadly,
this faux-apology worked; and within a few short weeks, no one in the media or
even in Davis appeared to care that a genocidal demagogue - masking himself as
clergy for a supposedly mainstream mosque - was continuing to lecture at
that mosque.
If this kind of behavior was ignored
once, that would be horrific — considering how many times over the
last few centuries that sermons by demagogic imams have led to the
actual slaughter of Jews. But sadly, this story has repeated itself, at
least five times.
That’s right. At least five times in
the last six months, five different imams in five different
supposedly run-of-the-mill mosques throughout the US (in California, Texas, New
Jersey, and Virginia) have been caught on tape preaching about the alleged
moral infirmity and evil of Jews, the filth of the Jews, and have
called for the murder of Jews.
The most recent of these incidents happened
on December 8, 2017 — and the video of the event was released to the public on
January 8, 2018, by the website MEMRI:
On Dec. 8, imam Abdullah Khadra, a Syrian imam who now lives in the US after he was
granted political asylum in 2011, delivered a sermon (after Trump
recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital), with a full-on genocidal rant.
First, Khadra
claimed that all of Israel is “stolen Muslim land,” which in time will all
be “returned” to Muslims. Regarding how it would be returned, Khadra turned to the same antisemitic
Hadith that imam Shahin touted in Davis, saying: “The Prophet
Muhammed gave us the glad tidings … we will fight those Jews until the rocks
and the trees will speak: Oh Muslim, this is a Jew behind me.” The
continuation of this sadly well-known Hadith is that the rocks and the trees
will then say: “come and kill him.”
Further
inciting violence, Khadra said: “We should teach
our children that it is our land and will remain our land, and will return to
us sooner or later. But the question is: Will you be among those who will
contribute to regaining it or not?”
Perhaps concerned that he had not done enough
to motivate his flock to kill Jews, Khadra said:
These occupiers, aggressors, and murderers
can never take our holy city — only if we are dead. … May Allah make
us of those who are alive, who are aware of their holy places, who are
defending their religion, and who move by all possible means to defend their
rights.” ...
While
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is still nominally allied with the Palestinian Authority,
a long-time client of the oil-rich custodian of Islam’s holiest cities, recent
reports suggest ties between the two have been cooling in recent years.
Covert cooperation with Israel against the
common foe of Iran ... has encouraged the Saudi leadership to push the PA to
accept a negotiated peace with Israel, even on terms less favorable than
previous offers.
According to a
bombshell report in December, Saudi Arabia is even weighing its
own peace agreement with the Jewish state without the establishment of a
Palestinian state or final status agreement between Israel and the PA – a
fundamental shift in the kingdom’s position.
The cooling ties between the Saudis and the
PA may also reflect a broader frustration within the kingdom for its erstwhile
client. While public polling is far less common in the kingdom than in the
West, and domestic media outlets constrained by state regulators, one Saudi
blogger’s recent viral video reflected the changing relationship between the PA
and Saudi Arabia.
In the video, a two-minute rant, the
blogger slams the PA as a “pigs” and “dogs” who have lived off of Saudi
petrodollars without showing even the slightest appreciation. "This
message is for the Palestinian pigs who only know how to curse and defame the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its citizens. "With all due respect to the Palestinian
Arab minority, you've been milking our economy for decades. We've given you
billions upon billions of dollars. Our citizens needed that money, but it went
to you.
"That's right, we gave preference you
over ourselves. We gave to you, instead of to our citizens. And what have we
gotten in return? You're a bunch of dogs, rabid dogs, who only bark at those
that feed them. You've turned your [political] issues into a source of income.
You've turned our shared religion [Islam] into a way of making money. You've
turned our shared language into a way of making money.
"You're more hostile towards us than
the Israelis are. You wish more for our destruction than you do Israel's. You
wish upon us the most horrible curses a person can conceive of.
"You are the ugliest page in our
history - like a bad memory that we'd like to forget. We want to tear this page
out of [our history] and get rid of it completely, now and forever.
"We've had to sacrifice having ties
with Israel - the most advanced country in the Middle East - because of you and
your problems and your use of our religion, language, and the fact that you're
Arabs [to demand our support].
"You've made a mockery of your own
plight - that's why the world doesn't take you seriously. You were homeless, so
we built you houses. You were sick, so we built you hospitals. You were hungry
so we gave you billions of dollars. And what did we get in return for our
support? In return for all that, you support our enemy [Iran], who didn't give
you even one percent of what we've given you.
"Go to hell, you and your whole
'crisis'. Your situation doesn't interest us anymore at all. We're the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia, and we have nothing to do with you." www.israelnationalnews.com

Octopus Doctrine Needed For Iran: Israel must immediately change its strategy and hold Iran
responsible for attacks from terrorist group Hezbollah and Syria, according to
Israel’s security cabinet minister Naftali Bennett. Bennett said that for 30
years, Israel has made the mistake of targeting what he called "mosquitoes"
and not "the swamp" and what he called "tentacles" and not
"the octopus." Bennett said, “Our message to Iran: the era of your immunity
while you send others and use your national resources to hurt Israel is over. A
rocket from Lebanon will be treated like an Iranian rocket. We will not waste
our resources and energy fighting in Lebanese towns while you recline your
chair and watch. We will also not sit idly and watch the accumulation of
accurate missiles in Lebanon. This strategy means Iran, the Quds Force and the
host countries will pay a price."
Bennett said he was not necessarily referring to armed conflict
with Iran and its Quds Force but a "war via diplomacy, intelligence, preemptive
efforts, technological means, economic sanctions, and – if needed – other
means." He also called for different strategies with Lebanon and Iranian
militias in Syria, He said that unlike in the past, Hezbollah attacking Israel
from Lebanon must be seen as a declaration of war by Lebanon against Israel and
that "Assad will bear responsibility for actions taking place in and from
his territory." Bennett added that the USA and pragmatic Arab countries
understand that the center of world terror is Iran, and based on this, Israel
can create a regional coalition. "I believe adopting the Octopus Doctrine,
the core of which is acting against the Quds Forces and Iran, while weakening
Iran's hold on Lebanon, Syria and Gaza, has the highest chances of preventing
war, or shortening it if it breaks out," Bennett said. (J.Post) Source: news@visionforisrael.com

‘USA Under No Illusions About Iran’s
Malicious Intent’: A senior USA counter-terrorism specialist said that
the United States and Israel are working closely to combat Iran's influence in
the Middle East. State Department Counter-terrorism Coordinator Nathan Sales
said that the United States has "no doubt that Iran is a serious threat to
Israel and to the United States" and called the Islamic Republic "the
common threat that has been the basis for a very fruitful cooperation in the
fight against terrorism between our two countries over the years. The United States
has no illusions about Iran's malicious intent in the region, or about its
ability to project its power and spill blood around the world," said
Sales, who is presently in Israel.
"Iran can be stopped, it is not invincible," Sales
added. "Iran is vulnerable because it has chosen to use illegitimate means
such as terrorism to shed blood and sow disorder in the world, and we see its
bloody fingerprints in the region, such as its support for Bashar Assad's
regime." Israel has been actively fighting Iran's attempt to take over the
Middle East and has been watching its activities in Lebanon and Syria with
concern. IDF Spokesperson Brigadier General Ronen Manelis
published an unusual op-ed in a number of Arab-language news sites warning that
Iranian attempts to produce missiles in Lebanon would spark a regional conflagration.

UN Envoy: Gaza on Verge of ‘Total Systems
Collapse’: Gaza is beyond a
“humanitarian crisis” and “on the verge of a total systems failure,” UN Middle
East envoy Nickolay Mladenov
said last week. Mladenov defined a total systems
failure as the “full collapse of the economy and social services,” with all the
“political, humanitarian and security implications stemming from that. The
situation in Gaza needs to be high on the agenda for the Palestinian Authority’s
donor countries Mladenov said. Returning Gaza under
legitimate Palestinian control and ending all the terrorist activity there is
critical,” he said. “It is critical to Israel’s security, Egypt’s security, to
the people of Gaza and the Palestinians in general.” The envoy said “we need to
work with the Palestinian Authority, and help them develop a plan about how
they are going to return to Gaza.” Without that, he said, Gaza risks “exploding
in our faces again, this time in a far more violent and deadly manner than in
the past”. (J.Post)

ISRAEL SUBMITS PLAN TO HELP REBUILD
GAZA: Israel
submitted a $1 billion plan for improving Gaza's infrastructure at a meeting on
Wed. 31 Jan. 2018 of donor states in Brussels. The plan includes building desalination
plants, installing a new high-voltage line that would double the amount of
electricity Israel supplies to Gaza, laying a natural gas pipeline from Israel
to Gaza, and building a sewage purification plant and a landfill. Israel is
willing to provide technology and know-how for these projects, but not to
finance them. (Ha'aretz) Billions of dollars continue to be poured into a terrorist society
that uses that aid to rebuild terrorist tunnels and its arsenals against the
Jewish state – rather than constructing and providing for its own people. Donor
states carry on providing funds - without careful supervision of how those
funds are used - to what is basically a violent, self-destructive society.

Children's TV Program Teaches Mass
Murderer as 'A Role Model': Palestinian children’s television has a long history
of promoting violence, including a bunny character named Assud
who was “martyred” after calling for the occupation of Israeli cities. “We
should teach our children that we have a land to which we must return: Jaffa,
Acre, Haifa, and Tel Aviv,” said the character. “We will return to all these
cities, Allah willing.” Palestinian television also featured the “martyrdom” of
Farfour, a Mickey Mouse-lookalike. The latest comes
in the opening of a 10-minute children’s program called “From My Country.” The
program declares arch-terrorist Abu Jihad, credited by the PA for the murders
of at least 125 Israelis, “is a role model to be followed.” The opening of the
weekly 10 minute program, which has been broadcast
twice so far, shows a cube with photos of six different Palestinian personalities.
One of them is terrorist Abu Jihad, who orchestrated numerous terror attacks
against Israelis, among them the Coastal Road Massacre – in which Palestinian
terrorists hijacked a bus and murdered 37 civilians, among them 12 children. (WND) Intercede that this kind of incitement that paralyzes the hearts and
minds of children will somehow be penalized and banned. Little is said by
Western leaders regarding ceremonies honoring terrorists, or hate-filled
Palestinian text books and children’s television shows. Source:

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel,” said B’nai B’rith official Eduardo Kohn.
“The Jewish people will always be grateful to Guatemala for its crucial role in
Israel’s birth, and for the great role then-President Juan José Arevalo played
in recognizing the Jewish state,” added the official who then gave the Central
American leader a shofar and a plaque highlighting his country’s record of defending
human rights. (Arutz-7)
